The Things We Do For Our Kids!

We have told our kids that when they get their Eagle or Personal Progress awards that we would take them on a trip any where they want to go (in the 48 states, let's be reasonable.). So Tyler said he wanted to go to Cleveland, Ohio. I thought "Cool, we could go to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and Kirtland." and he said "no mom, Cedar Point, terrorizing roller coasters." Oh, great. It was fun and we did make it to the hall of fame and Kirtland.

This was the view from our hotel. We stayed right at Cedar Point, just a two minute walk to the entrance and we were able to enter an hour before the public.

On our trip to Cedar Point we wanted a picture of the three of us with Snoopy and Woodstock, it was for Kevin. So while we were walking back to the hotel we saw this cute bench. It was after the park had closed and no one was around to take the picture. No problem for Photoshop, we took two pictures and merged into one. YA!

Happy Mother's Day To Me!

I had such a nice Mother's Day. Rick and the kids made breakfast, lunch and dinner. I probably gained 10 pounds. They gave me flowers and a new Ipod, ya!

Emily's Birthday Party

For Emily's 13th birthday she wanted a "Minute To Win It" party with an Easter theme.

They had an Easter egg hunt in the dark (our basement) with Glow-Sticks.

They made bags to take all the treats home.

Played allot of "Minute To Win It" games.

And her birthday cake was Peeps cupcakes. It was a great party!
