Snow is more fun with a 4-wheeler

Yes, bring on the snow. As long as I don't have to drive in it, snow can be fun. Rick took the kids on the sled yesterday. Soon there was a line of neighborhood kids waiting for a ride. Then today we delivered the neighbor gift on it. Fun, Fun, Fun.

Everyone has to shovel, Kevin is the only one who smiles while shoveling.

Yes Rick, there is a Santa Claus

Finally, Rick got his 4-wheeler. He has waited 16 years for it (he'll say 37 years). With the economy as bad as it is, the motor sports place put their 4-wheelers on sale. It's a Grizzly 700 or something like that. He got a good deal, but had to go to St. George to get it. But then, they gave him a gas card for his traveling. Anyway he is really excited.

Santa at the Primary Activity

Our ward primary activity was on Saturday. They made crafts, had food and visited Santa. Kevin was O.K. with Santa, so was Tyler & Emily.

Emily's Dance Program

Emily took World Dance this year and she liked it. She hasn't decided if she will do it again or go back to Jazz or Ballet. At the program they danced a Ukrainian dance.

This is the third year that we have gone to the Festival of Trees, it may be a tradition by now. I am amazed at what they can do with a Christmas tree. The trees are sold and the money goes to Primary Childrens Hospital. These were some of our favorites:

This one is made out of shotgun shells.

Kevin loved the Disney trees, there were quite a few.

I saw four trees with a Twilight theme. This one was my favorite.

Auto Mechanic

He may have a future in this.

New Deacon

While Grant & Marie were here Rick ordained Tyler to the Priesthood. My parents and brother came too, and Bishop Olsen was there to make it official.

Thanksgiving Magic

Grant & Marie came for Thanksgiving and Tyler & Grant did a magic show. They are both great Magicians.

Tyler's Party, Emily's Program & Christmas Pictures

There is a nursery by my house that has a great showroom. Every year they have a Poinsettia festival before Thanksgiving. So I took the kids for pictures. We got a few good ones (Kevin was not cooperative.) These I liked.

Emily's school program was on American Heritage. She was a slave girl (we are so proud).

Tyler's birthday party was so easy, we should do this every year. He invited four friends and they played wii for an hour and a half and then watched "Journey to the Center of the Earth." We had pizza, snacks and cookies. With his birthday money he bought a ipod touch (real fun).

Tyler's 12th Birthday & A New Picture of Cami

Tyler is now 12. I can't believe it. We took him to Tucanos (Brazillian Grill) for dinner. It's a fun place, like a buffet but they bring different kinds of meat to your table. Yes, they sing to the Birthday Boy, as you can see.

Tyler is having a party with four of his friends at our house. They are going to play video games. I'll let you know if I survive.
Here is a new picture of Cami. (Rusty's baby) She is so cute.

Halloween Night

The kids got dress up and went Trick or Treating. Emily is a hippie, Kevin is a doctor and Tyler is a nerd. Kevin only did a few houses then was handing out candy with me.

I'm starting a new tradition, to have a funky dinner before Trick or Treating. Last year I got halloween plates, cups and bowls half off the day after halloween. The dinner could have been more spooky, but I ran out of time. I've got ideas for next year.

We carved pumpkins the night before. Emily did a peace sign to go with her costume and Tyler did a traditional Jack O' Lantern.

Kevin is 2 years old ... I can't beleive it

Since we were traveling on his birthday he had two parties, one in Phoenix and one in Cedar City. He loves the Cars movie and got McQueen clothes and toys.

Phoenix Trip

We went to Phoenix for the annual Coley Halloween Party. It is so fun every year and the kids love it. We really missed these when we lived in Kansas.

The games were Bobbing for Apples and Donuts on a String.

Emily is a Hippie, Kevin is a Doctor and Tyler is a Nerd.

Say It Isn't So ... Snow

Yes, we had snow on Sunday. It was only an inch and it was gone by noon, but you would think that we could skip this winter since last winter was so bad. It has been cold. Our high was 40 and the low was 30. The rest of the week looks nice. It's times like this that I think about becoming a snowbird. (Phoenix was 85 degrees.)

We went to the Jazz vs Suns pre-season game last week. It was fun, Rick and Tyler were especially excited. Our seats were a little high, but still fun. The best part about the game was the two guys that sat behind us. They were hilarious, I laughed the whole time.

Fall Colors

This is why I live where I live. Within a 10-minute drive up American Fork Canyon we are in the fall colors. How beautiful is this; snow on the tops of the mountain and fall colors on the trees. I hope we can get back up there one more time after the leaves start to fall.

Jennifer's Baby Shower

Jennifer's sisters and mother gave her a baby shower today. It was at Melanie's in Lehi. She got allot of cute pink clothes, so I hope it's a girl. She is due October 22nd and they are going to name her Kambria. I'm so excited and cannot wait. Jenn I hope I have that right.

Jenn looks really good, this is a bad picture from using my old camera.
