22 Mile Temple Walk

Our Young Women had a goal to walk from the Draper Temple to the Salt Lake Temple. That is 22 miles. All summer along they prepared. They did this on September 18th. I'm amazed at how well they did, especially Emily. Sister Elaine S. Dalton meet them at the lunch site and spoke with them. Then the Young Men (Tyler included) walked the last two miles for encouragement. Rick went too as priesthood and health-care helper. They were so glad that they did it.

Update

Fourth of July Fun

The YW read Jesus the Christ and got to go the the Salt Lake Temple,
meet Elder Ballard, dinner at the governor's mansion, meet the Governor
and his wife and Sister Dalton. Pretty good reward.

We ran the Cedar Hills 5K.

Easter Fun

Emily at her NOVA graduation. (Apparently cookies are important.)

Dying eggs are always fun and messy. Kevin had the blue dye spilled with the first egg.
Kevin was young enough to go to the Cedar Hills Easter Egg Hunt. He was in the 0-3 year old group. He was so fast that his basket was filled and he was ready to go home before the hunt was over. It was so funny.

Tyler's 13th birthday party was at the Space Center. They went on a space mission and had allot of fun. Then afterward they had pizza, cake and ice cream.
