November

For Thanksgiving we had my parents and Rusty, Jennifer & Cami over for dinner. It turned out great! Sandy, Rusty and Tyler set up targets in the back yard and shot BBs. No one was hurt, just a few cans.

Here is Emily and Cami. Cami is getting real big and she is so cute.

Wishbone time, I think that Tyler won.

Kevin made this cute hat in Nursery. He is almost a Sunbeam.

Kevin found a nose with mustache in the bottom of the toy box. He looked so cute with it on. Oh we celebrated Tyler's 13th birthday this month too. More pictures to come on that big event.

and now for the rest of October...

Kevin is three and very proud of it.
Our Halloween tradition of carving pumpkins. Tyler and Emily did traditional Jack 'O Lantern faces and Kevin wanted a skeleton face.

For Halloween night Tyler dressed up as the Archery Merit Badge, Emily was the Twister game and Kevin was Buzz Lightyear.

October. . . so far.

Kevin turns 3, I can't believe it. We had a little party when Grant & Marie came. We went to Pirate Island for dinner and games. He had fun and loved his presents.

These pictures are up American Fork Canyon. The weather and light was perfect.

The corn maze at Cornbellys (Thanksgiving Point) was allot of fun. They also had other games and a hay ride that was great.

September...where did it go?

We were Team Coley at the primary activity. They had four different games that each family rotated through and then rootbeer floats. yum!

Rick and Kevin painted the cabinets in the garage. What a big helper.

Kevin decided that he wanted to wear a tie like daddy and Tyler. So I bought him a white shirt (we already had the tie from Tyler). Don't they look so cute?

One of the funniest things that I have ever seen: Trailer races at the Rocky Mountain Raceway. They race on a figure eight track until there is one left running. So funny, I'm still laughing.

We spent Labor Day at the Bees baseball game. It was fun even-tho the Bees lost.

August

WOW, where did the summer go? I think this was the fastest summer yet. We really didn't go anywhere, but we kept busy.

Our kids started school. Tyler is in 7th grade, and now is in Jr. High. He is doing good and likes it, so far.

Emily is in 6th grade. She has a new teacher and is happy to be back at school. Next month she will get braces for her teeth.

Kevin wanted to go to school with the kids. Here he is ready, minus the backpack and still wearing his PJs.

Tyler earned his Star rank and 17 Merit Badges. We are really proud of Tyler. He works on scouting each month.

This was Emily's position all summer long. I think she read over 20 books.

4th of July

This year Rick had to work a 72-hour call shift so the kids and I went to Cedar City to see my parents. (sound familiar we did the same thing last year.) Cedar City did a huge Family Fest with three days of shows, carnivals, a parade and even seminars. There was so many people. I'm sure that it was good for the city, but everywhere you went there were crowds. Rusty, Jenn, Cami & the dogs came too. Cami is really getting big and funny.
Emily spent her time in the pool or reading. Tyler mowed lawns with grandpa and earned enough money to put on a good firework show. Kevin liked it, but did not like the screamers.

June

Wow, I haven't blogged since April...oops. Well I've been on Facebook allot. But here are some things that we have done in June.

Tyler is working on the Fishing Merit Badge, so we went fishing. Kevin loves it, but he get upset when we throw the fish back. He wants to keep each fish for a pet.

We hiked to the Pleasant Grove falls. It's a nice half mile hike. Rick took his Webelos there a few days later. We have also hiked to Timanogos cave. That is a steep mile and a half hike that really kicks your tail.

Four-wheeling is fun. We took the ATVs to Tibble Fork for a ride. The best part is that all of these places are close by.

Emily finished her soccer games. She really improved and is excited to start in the fall. This picture is perfect to describe their season. They didn't win one game, but had fun.

Tyler graduated from 6th grade and will go to Jr. High in August. I can't believe it. Good Job Tyler!

Easter and Family Pictures

Easter weekend was fun and exciting. Stef and Valerie were home and Scott came with them. We finally got to meet him and we all like him very much. Since we were all together we took some family pictures. It rained of course, so our second location was the church. The pictures turned out good (with a little help from photoshop).

Our town had a Easter Egg Hunt. Emily and Kevin had fun. Tyler is now too old. It took Kevin a while to figure it out, but he did and loved it.

Our Phoenix Trip

It was my birthday. They got me my favorite birthday cake, Coconut Cream Pie!

We had so much fun in Phoenix and it was warm. We visited with Rick's brothers and sister and at the end of the week we had a camp out in Christopher Creek with everyone.

My Cute Niece

We watched Cami while her parents were working. She is so much fun.

California Trip

Wow, has it really been that long since I blogged, oops.

We went to California for a vacation and Rick had a conference. Here are some pictures of the fun we had. This picture is at California Adventure. It was a first for us and we had allot of fun. California Screamin' was my favorite ride.

Yes, we had to do Disneyland for two days. I think that we covered everything, except for Space Mountain. Either the line was too long or it was down. So maybe next time.

We went to Legoland. It rained in the morning and that scared off allot of people. In some ways it was like we were the only ones there. They have made some amazing things out of Legos.

The weather at Huntington beach was beautiful. I wish we could have enjoyed it more. Going in the off-season meant that it was almost deserted.

This was at Universal Studios. Rick and I haven't been there since 1990, so it was fun for us too. We spent the extra money and got the "Front of the Line Pass" and it was worth every penny. We got to go to the front on every ride and show, and see behind the scenes on the shows.
